Bristol Cricket Club Womens’ and Girls’ Winter Coaching

For Women and Girls (Under 13s and over)
Dates - Sun 7 Jan to Sun 24 Mar 2024 (excluding two half term Sundays)
Times - 6.30pm to 7.30pm
Venue – Shine Sports Hall, Brecon Rd, Henleaze, BS9 4DT
Coach – Rob Jones, an experienced Level 2 ECB coach who has played and coached at Bristol CC for 20 years, assisted by Kevin Blackburn an experience Level 3 ECB coach who taught and ran the cricket at Bristol Grammar School for 30 years.
Cost - £50 for the 10 sessions
Equipment – all kit, bats, balls, etc will be provided

You don’t have to wear cricket specific kit; please turn up in any sports kit you feel comfortable in.
The emphasis will be on having fun, being active, and being competitive, gradually learning the basic skills of cricket in an enjoyable way.
We will use a mixture of soft balls such as wind balls and hard balls (cricket balls and semi-hard balls) which will be totally dependent on the level of the player and the suitability for them. The emphasis is on learning the basic skills in a fun and competitive environment.
