We are hoping you, with members of your family, are able to volunteer to undertake some work in and around the clubhouse with the majority of work around the patio, car park and pitches. Our plan is to get as many people as we can to the club on Saturday 5th April 9am to 4pm to help get the score box, patio, car park and areas around the two pitches up together ready for this years cricket season.

In the past, we have managed to get children, parents and players up to the club from the Minis right up to the senior players to join in and offer their much needed help. Please come up and join in if you can.

We will have a long list of jobs that we need your help with ie. painting, cleaning, power washing, general DIY, clearing the grounds perimeter of foliage and if we have enough people we should be able to do things like getting the sight screens up, rolling covers on and we may even manage to get the outdoor nets up and ready to use!

A firm believer in ‘many hands make light work' so please can I ask that you try to pop up even if it is only for a few hours! If we could duplicate the amazing help we acquired last year, then this would be a great start.

Could I also ask that you bring any spare paint pots of used or new WHITE undercoat, metal and masonry paint and brushes you may have. Disposable gloves are a very good idea also. Any garden/power tools like lopers, hedge-cutters, steam cleaners, etc would be amazing too.

DO NOT FORGET PLEASE WEAR CLOTHES YOU DO NOT MIND GETTING PAINT ON AND BRING SOME LUNCH AND DRINKS WITH YOU IF YOU PLAN TO STAY A WHILE - WE ARE HOPING THE BAR WILL BE ABLE TO BE OPEN.
